Legal Requirements
EU Regulation No. 852/2004 on food hygiene and national legislation impose strict requirements for food transport vehicles:
- Cleaning and disinfection before each loading
- Contact surfaces must be non-toxic and easy to clean
- Records of cleaning operations (sanitization register)
- Valid DSVSA certificates at every veterinary-sanitary inspection
- Frequency as per the operator's HACCP plan
Sanitization Process
Removal of coarse residue and dirt with high-pressure water.
Application of DSVSA-approved food-grade detergents, scrubbing surfaces.
Complete rinse to remove all detergent residues.
Application of approved biocidal solution per DSVSA regulations.
Issuance of sanitization certificate with date and responsible technician signature.
The Sanitization Certificate
On completion, we issue a sanitization and disinfection certificate containing:
- Authorized unit details (TOP 4 LEVELS S.R.L., DSVSA authorization)
- Vehicle details (registration plate, vehicle type)
- Date and time of sanitization
- Biocidal products used and their concentrations
- Signature of the technical responsible
